Introducing a new feature: read classic materials from the archives of the print version of The Nabokovian. Selected by the site's editors, contents will be featured free of charge and will vary quarterly. Набоков. Возвращение. (Nabokov. The Return.) Opens at the Pushkinskii Dom

An exhibition entitled "Набоков. Возвращение." (Nabokov.The Return.) was opened on November 12, 2021 at the Pushkinskii Dom (Pushkin House) Museum (officially the Institute of Russian Literature) in St. Petersburg, to celebrate the arrival of the last tranche of important Nabokoviana (books, manuscripts, letters, memorabilia) remaining after the death of Dmitri Nabokov in 2012.

Dear Nabokovians,

The Annotations for Ada Pt 2 Ch 6 (Ada's reunion with Van in Manhattan) are now available here on this website, a much shorter set of annotations than the last instalment. The notes have now reached more than 2/3 of the way through the novel.

And simultaneously the next instalment due for release on AdaOnline, Part 2 Chapter 4 (the lecture on dreams) is now online here

Stanislav Shvabrin's talk, which could not take place on November 16 due to technical issues, has been rescheduled for Thursday, November 18, 8 pm SPb time (12 pm EST). Organized by Pushkinskii Dom, the talk will be on the subject of Nabokov and Jules Supervielle. The seminar proceedings will be in Russian.
