Dear Colleagues,
The panel "Vladimir Nabokov: Interdisciplinary Approaches" has room for
one more presenter. If you are interested in presenting at the ASEEES
(formerly AAASS) conference next year, please send a title and short
description of your proposed paper to <lwakamiya_at_fsu.edu> . The panel
must be submitted on Saturday the 15th, so I hope to hear from you soon.
The conference will be held in Washington D.C., from November 17-20,
2011. Please see the description of the panel below:
Vladimir Nabokov: Interdisciplinary Approaches
The panel will demonstrate how new media, digital technologies, and
reproductions of material artifacts have allowed the work of Vladimir
Nabokov, as well as recent literary criticism about his writing, to
bridge the boundaries between publication formats and academic
disciplines. Panelists will address how interdisciplinary approaches to
Nabokov's work have led to new opportunities for scholarly
collaboration, innovative formats for teaching and publication, and
renewed attention to the responsibilities of the reader and notions of
authorship.
