monograms in Ada

Carolyn Kunin :... my reference to Victor Hugo's monogram and its possible pertinence to Ada ...I think it is clear that the monogram can be seen as representing the latin letters V, H and A, and/or the cyrillic letters L and N.
Jansy Mello: I wish I could understand CK's point in relation to VH's monogram. Just as a curiosity, I may remind you that one of Victor Hugo's children was named Adele, the French for Adelaida (nevertheless, Hugo's daughter's pathological love could, at most, be linked to Lucette's, not to Ada.) "A girl was born on July 21, 1872, at Ardis, her putative father's seat in Ladore County, and for some obscure mnemonic reason was registered as Adelaida. Another daughter, this time Dan's very own, followed on January 3, 1876."
