An addendum to my previous post ("Antidulcinist"):

Vera (Faith), Nadezhda (Hope) and Lyubov' (Love) are the three daughters of Saint Sophia (venerated in the Orthodox Church on September 30, the name-day of Vera, Nadezhda and Lyubov'). They were named after virtues mentioned by Saint Paul in 1 Corinthians 13. These virtues are often mentioned together. A poem by Bunin (written in 1922, in exile) begins:

Душа навеки лишена
Былых надежд, любви и веры.

The soul is forever deprived
of past hopes, love and faith.

Bunin served as a model for Pyotr Nikolaevich, the famous writer (and antidulcinist) in "The Event."
