SIGHTING: VN & Frost joint appearance, 1942

Dear list,
In Abraham Socher's article on Frost and Nabokov -- http://www.libraries.psu.edu/nabokov/socher.htm -- he mentions two joint appearances, one in 1942 and one in 1945. I tracked down a newspaper report of the first of these, with a blurry photo of slender VN and some quotes about democracy. His remarks seem similar to those, from the same period, reported by Boyd in VNAY (page 41). VN, of course, was not a "Dr." but he was, as the caption notes, an authority on Shakespeare. Enjoy.
