Which reminds me, Jerry Friedman, one small part of the proof you say
I never posted regarding my Pale Fire solution (just put that in the
archive's search engine in the subject field) is that the name Kinbote
proves that Pale Fire is in fact derived from RLS's Jekyll and Hyde.

I do not have time to re-type it all. It is really and truly all there
in the archives. You should find multiple postings with the same
information. Nobody, excuse me, hardly anyone ever took the time to
read what I wrote, forcing me to re-re-re-re-re-write the same
information over and over and over and over ... so then,

Happy hunting. Report back what you find.

Alas, this is not from Pale Fire, but from Charles Kinbote's (Jeff
Edmunds') novel (available in Zembla) Silvery Light: Vladimir
Nabokov's Original Life.
