Crown canopies over cozy nests...

PS:... in the sentence "My magic carpet no longer skims over crown canopies and gaping nestlings, and her rarest orchids." the insertion of a fully decorated bed makes no sense, whereas the crowns of trees are perfect.
Jansy Mello: On second thoughts, if the magic carpet provides more than an aerial view from the tree tops, the suggestion of the fledglings's nest being protected by a green "crown canopy" does make sense when we look upwards
(btw:the trees in my photograph may not belong to the "canopy tree" category, but they illustrate my point). .. .
