VDN Conference in Nabokov Museum

The conference on V.D.Nabokov opens in the Nabokov Museum on September
22 and will run through Sept 23 as planned. The program (in Russian) is
attached.
Also, a note on the discussion above: there was a P.P.Gumbert
(Humbert's name in the novel's Russian
version) among VDN's fellow teachers in the Imperial School of Law. It
was very uncommon as a last name in Russia (as a first name it was
very well known, of course - the Italian king, etc.)
