In regard to Gene's comment on anagram programs, I have found a
couple of places on the World-Wide Web where one can submit words for
anagrammatic analysis. Here are two addresses:
http://www.wordsmith.org/awad-cgibin/anagram
http://mmm.mbhs.edu/~bconnell/anagrams.html
Another source indicates that there is an anagram program for Windows.
According to the announcement, the program can provide anagrams in American
or British English. Information on this can be found at
http://www.demon.co.uk/genius/ag.html The company that makes it can be
reached by sending an e-mail message to AGenius@genius.demon.co.uk
