Nabokovians:
1. Some time ago I mentioned the law suit being filed in London by
Andrew Field over remarks about him in David Sexton's review of vol. II of
Boyd's VN biography. (The Sunday Telegraph, 5 Jan. 1992, Books I Section).
I now have the review in question--if anyone is interested.
2. One service that Nabokv-L might perform is the circulation of
miscellaneous items about Nabokov that pop up in out-of-the-way places.
3. Manuscript continue to come in for the inaugural (and subsequent
issues) of NABOKOV STUDIES. I would welcome submissions and inquiries from
Nabokv-l subscribers.
4. I shall be out of town for a few days, so I will respond to
messages belatedly.
