The second in a series of Zembla Reprints is now available at
Zembla, the Nabokov WWW site at:
http://www.libraries.psu.edu/iasweb/nabokov/nsintro.htm.
"The Novel-Waltz (On the Structure of King, Queen, Knave)" by Nora
Buhks was originally published in French in 1987. In her article, Buhks
takes an original and insightful look at _Korol', dama, valet_, Nabokov's
second novel.
My thanks to Dr. Buhks for allowing her work to appear in English in
Zembla.
The intent of Zembla Reprints is to make available electronically
articles on each of Nabokov's novels. Next in line is _The Defense_
(Zashchita Luzhina). Suggestions for articles on the book are invited. I am
especially interested in good articles that are difficult to locate and/or
in languages other than English (particularly Russian). (Please keep in mind
that I will have to obtain permission from both author and journal, the the
easier both are to track down, the greater the likelihood of success.)
Thank you.
