Winifred Roy. John Long [1936]. 288p 19cm black cloth in new white sleeve,
sl foxing and sl soiling on edges, sm repair to outer hinge, spine dull,
cloth & corners worn, publ catalogue, sm yellow label removed from front
pastedown, good (Juliar D 14.4) Rare first English appearance of Nabokov's
text, in revised form published in 1938 as Laughter in the Dark. ("the
translation was insufficiently revised by me"). Very Rare first English ed.
A copy in similar condition was offered by Blackwells for Pounds 600.- (Cat
B 113 # 230) 280.-Pounds
