The up-and-coming power pop band Gladhands, based in North Carolina, has a
song on their new CD ("La Di Da") called "Gore Girls (Gimme More)," singing
the praises of the current Vice President's trio of fetching female
offspring, who are described as "the perfect triple date / three nymphet
heads of state." (Fans of pop music can hear RealAudio snippets of several
songs at http://www.gladhands.com.)
The Gladhands' song writer/singer/drummer, who happens to be my younger
brother, wrote his undergraduate English honors thesis on Nabokov at UNC
several years ago.
