film director, writer, and translator who has been working on a Nabokov

My Nabokov documentary film project is a sad story. Two years ago I won a
European Film Academy stipend for working out the scenario of the
film about Nabokov. I spent four months in Berlin and found a way to make
a film which is worth doing. I have received invaluable help from many
Nabokovians - but I've found no financing. Perhaps the film will never
be done. What I am doing now is editing the rough video-sketches I shot of
Nabokov's places in Berlin, and photos, with a voice over - in
non-professional Hi8 format: just because I cannot leave off and give up.
