EDITOR's NOTE. Although there may be other references, "Scenes from the
Life of a Double Monster" comes to mind. Elizabeth Sweeney has a good
article about it. Also Lisa Zunshine has written about it, but I don't
recall if she has published her study. See the ZEMBLA Zimmer/Edmunds
