EDITOR's NOTE. The "attached" article and graphic from the Petersburg
newspaper _Nevskii vremia_ announces a competition for Nabokov-related
work of art as part of the celebration of Nabokov's Centenary in Russia.
The author of the article, Andrei Kharshak, a well-known Petersburg
artist, is the organizer of the competition which is jointly sponsored by
the Nabokov Museum & Foundation and the newspaper. The article was sent
by Mr. Kharshak to Nabokovian Christine Rydel who kindly passed it on to
NABOKV-L.
The inclosed JPEG file is in Russian but contains a charming picture of
Nabokv as a young man.
