I suppose making fun of the "Times" arts coverage is poor sport,
but I did love this line:
[Nabokov]'s always seemed to me one of the three great writers of English
born speaking another tongue; the others are Conrad and Koestler.
What a bold stand. The writer apparently prefers Nabokov to Ayn Rand.
By the way, who was the writer? The original posting omitted the name.
