When Dmitri Nabokov addressed the 1983 Cornell Nabokov Festival, he included
in his remarks a partial translation, namely that part of the Preface that
discusses the theme of "otherworldliness" in VN. See _The Achievements of
Vladimir Nabokov_ (Cornell University Center for International Studies,
1984), pp. 174-76.
