Dear NABOKV-L subscribers:
There are about 600 subscribers to NABOKV-L, ranging from the
world's leading VN scholars to interested readers. I am saddened to say
that recent months have shown a marked decline in contributions from
subscribers. Although I am always glad to relay queries, NABOKV-L
depends upon contributions from its subscribers. This service is worth
continuing ONLY if people other than (or in addition to) the editor
provide news of the field and particularly of their own work. One of my
chief goals of the list was to allert scholars and others to what other
scholars (or enthusiasts) were working on. There is, after all, little
point in duplicating the efforts of others and much to be gained by
sharing knowledge.
If you are interested in seeing NABOKV-L continue, please let us
know of your own work, your thoughts on the work of others, and of
anything "Nabokovian" that you run across.
