An important notice for those who trace Nabokov-Brodsky's
controversial relationship is given by Mr. Sergey Shultz in the ZVEZDA
(5, 2000). He writes about lending an illegal photocopy of the emigre
journal "Sovremennye zapiski" to Josef Brodsky as early as in Autumn,
1961. That copy contained Nabokov's "Spring in Fialta", which "greately
impressed Brodsky".
Some new materials concerning M. Agheev / M. Levi (author of the
remarkable "Novel with Cocaine") are published in the DRUZHBA (5, 2000).
