Hello,
I have been watching the intellectual badminton of the list for a while, and
I was just wondering if there was any practical help anyone on the list could
provide for me. I am a student of Russian and English at Oxford University,
and one of the things I need to do in my final year is write a short (10,000wd)
thesis on a subject of my choice. Naturally, the great man himself would be
an obvious cross-disciplinary choice, but my teachers are singularly unhelpful
when it comes to providing me with:
a) reading lists
b) possible essay titles
c) general areas of research
I thought that the combined might of the list should be able to put me on the
right track. Thank you all very much in advance.
Love,
James Womack
