As an aside I wonder if anyone can tell us what has been censored in the
Spaniah LO?

As if in followup to the discussion last May about Spanish translations
of
Lolita, Anagrama, the current publisher of VN in Spain confirms that
their
current version is in fact "censored." The translator, Enrique Tejedor,
is
really Enrique Pezzoni, the literary director of Editorial Sudamericana.
A
new translation is being prepared, apparently by Pezzoni/Tejedor, and
will
be issued soon. I don't know why he used his nom de traducteur only on
Lolita (he did what VN had originally wanted to do with the novel?). He
also has translated Sebastian Knight and Look at the Harlequins.
