Dear Don ,
I've seen the VN quiz somewhere before -- probably on Nabokv-L -- and again, out of fairness, shall not attempt to answer those questions which are intelligible. But I will question Question 4.:
"Nabokov's only son, Dmitri, became
a. an opera singer and race car driver
b. an interior decorator and race car driver
c. a theatrical director and race car driver"
I can only assume that the options reflect someone's wishful thinking. He might also have suggested hairdresser, airline steward and ballet dancer. Even Answer (a) apparently incriminates: on one occasion, when CB radio was a redneck rage, I amused myself by singing "Stenka Razin" in my lusty bass into the microphone while driving on a Florida Interstate. I got only one response: "Faggot!"
