EDNOTE. Idle thought. This would make a great gift to anyone who is planning
to visit the Saint Petersburg VN Museum. The (late) Carl and (very much
alive) Ellendea Proffer founded Ardis Press, which along with reprints of
VN's Russian novels put ou the estimable journal referred to below. Many of
their books are now collector's items. I recently noted that some dealer was
asking $90-odd dollars for a copy of my $10 VN study WORLDS in REGRESSIoN
published by Ardis.
