"Teaching Vladimir Nabokov as an American Writer"

American Literature Association Convention
Boston, MA, May 26-29, 2005
How do Nabokov's works fit into courses in American
literature? To answer this question, we seek papers that
discuss Nabokov as an American citizen; as an émigré writer
in the United States; as a commentator on and contributor to
American culture; or as someone who both influenced and was
indebted to other American writers. Papers that place such
discussion within the context of pedagogy and curriculum
design are especially welcome.

The American Literature Association Convention will be held
