Ada Byron King, Countess of Lovelace

Dear Don,

Sorry to be coming back again and again but it is early morning and I´m only
slowly warming up. I wanted to add that in my Webster´s Portuguese/English
there is an entry for Ada!
Ada: (f.Bot.) an orchid ( Ada sp.).

EDNOTE. There two extended treatments of orchids in ADA. An earlier one by
Bobbie Ann Mason in her monograph _NABOKOV's Garden_ and Liana Ashenden's
dissertation _Mimicry, Mimics & Desire in Nabokov's ADA_. The word "orchid" is,
BTW, from the greek word for "testicle," although flower has other connotations.
