Don, my exclamation mark indicated amusement, not offence. My French is
erratic, slightly Hispano-Italian French when written especially. So it
may
not have been a typo. Thanks for the explanation of the potential pun.

By the way, I've just learned the French for 'Spoonerism':
contrepe[acute]terie, which has interesting punning potential too.
