My question is "Why the "rabbit foot" of a poplar. What is it.
The shape perhaps?

p.s. This note has Gradus traveling from Geneva to Lex - - I wonder if there
might be a link to Judge Goldsworth who is an expert in Roman law (i.e. lex)
