Dear Carolyn,

Only the first volume of Nabokov's "oeuvres romanesques complètes" has
been published so far by the Pléiade. The first volume gathers the Russian
works. Hence Ada has not been published yet. I believe the second volume is
being prepared, but, as far as I know, noone is trying to retranslate Ada,
so Gilles Chahine's translation will probably be used.
If you read French and if you're interested in the translation of Ada
into French, you should find some amusement reading Eric Orsenna's novel
entitled "Deux étés". The book uses the story of the famous translation as a
plot basis. I don't know if the novel has yet been translated into English.
