Returning to question 3 ( "Am I right in thinking Pnin's appearance in
/Pale
Fire/ is the only time a character from one Nabokov story appears in
another?): I can add another character, "Ivor," to those listed by Y.
Chupin. "Ivor" appears both in Lolita and in LATH - and no wonder
since in LATH we
find a big collection of recurrent names ( not actually "characters")
such
as Dumbert Dumbert, Dolly, Ada. Also "Sirin"!
