New Russian annotated translation of “Bend Sinister” (1947)

A new Russian translation of “Bend Sinister” (1947) has been published (574 p.). This is vol. 26 of Nabokov's collected works at the “Corpus” publishing house. Translation, article and annotations (including ten illustrations) by Andrei Babikov. The results of studying the manuscript of the novel, which is kept in the Nabokov archive in the Library of Congress, are given in the Annotations and in the Appendix. The translation is dedicated to the memory of Dmitry Nabokov.
