Tomorrow, January 29 at 11am NY time, will be the next Nabokov Readings online seminar:
Topic: Nabokov's novel Pale Fire: translation problems. Keynote speaker - Alexandra Glebovskaya, literary translator. We will talk about two versions of the novel's title and two existing translations. We will discuss individual fragments of the novel and try to imagine what an "ideal" translation or the author's own translation might look like if he took on this difficult task.
