Bibliography query re the Stories of VN in GB (fwd)

I have a small puzzle and you may be able to help me. I have not
completely kept up with the intricacies of the publication of the
STORIES OF VN in Great Britain. While in transit in London a few
days ago I asked the employee of Waterstone's to check on the
publication date of the book.
To his surprise, he pulled two exactly similar references: both
Viking and Weidenfeld & Nicolson are supposed to publish the book in
March 96; one of them to the tune of 20 pounds and the other for 25
pounds.
Was there a mistake in the data input, or is there something I do
not know.
