Raymond Queneau, in _Zazie dans le metro_ uses the form 'amerloquaine' in
chapter five, where Zazie is shopping for "bloudjinnzes". Queneau, too,
liked to play with language! (Is there evidence that Nabokov knew
Queneau's work?) (I've also seen the above term spelt 'amerloc' in
French.)
