It may interest those in the group who do not read the
Financial Times to know that on page XV of the Weekend FT of
March 16/17, in a section called "rereadings," appears an
article by Jackie Wullschlager headlined "Why 'Lolita' is
still irresistable." The paper adds that the author "finds
her attitude has changed towards Nabokov's favourite
heroine." The article makes some interesting cultural
observations.
