I should like through this medium to thank Carolyn Kunin very much for the handsome prize she sent me for giving the answer (Diaghilev) to her question about who was the prime originator of various of Stravinsky's ballets. The prize was recordings of just such Diaghilev-inspired music, including Stravinsky's which I knew but also other music which I didn't know. So I am grateful for this rather undeserved but pleasant gift.
