For example: consider the vexing question ‘Why did Shade report seeing a gardener and his wheelbarrow in the final stanza of Pale Fire?’ My scholarly web search for ‘wheelbarrow’ reveals that gardeners commonly employ wheelbarrows, especially in gardens.
