I would like to echo Julian's expression of gratitude. As I have followed the debate, and now dipped into TOOL, I find myself thinking of Michelangelo's "The Prisoners," masterpieces of sculpture struggling to free themselves from the stone in which they were born. There is profit, and pleasure, in seeing the work of a genius part way to completion.
I have been reading with interest the many reviews of TOOL that have
appeared on line. It's generating a lot of attention. I received my copy
of the book yesterday, and I've been having a great time poring through it.
I, for one, would like to thank Dmitri Vladimirovich for making VN's note
cards available to readers in such a marvelous fashion. Thanks very much!Best,
Julian Connolly
