This need not mean much, but there is some circumstantial evidence that Nabokov was familiar with Freud's wolf-man case. I note briefly what this evidence is in a book called Style is Matter (and, in shortened form, in an article on Nabokov and Freud that appeared in American Imago a few years ago).
