I do not understand why Rusina Volkov now doubts the plain statement
that the Russian translation of my biography used original sources.
It did.

The version cited in the Russian edition of my biography of VN's
letter to his mother of 13 October 1925 is correct.

Professor Anastasiev had no access to the original letter and merely
translates from my English translation, although why he adds
восхищенный, лишний раз and должное I don't
know.

The previous discussion took place in April 2007, not 2006.
