I'm a senior at Northwestern University in Chicago and I'll be travelling to
the Nabokov Museum in St. Petersburg this March (14-22) to do research on
Pale Fire. I posted to Nabokov-L last October - at the time I had planned
to go to the museum in December - my trip has been postponed since then,
obviously.

Can anyone recommend a cheap place to stay/cheap places to eat while in
Petersburg? I'm travelling on an undergraduate research grant and
consequently am strapped for money. I'd be happy to pay something to sleep
on a couch or whatever...
