Amherst College's holdings of Rul' are in the Amherst Center for Russian Culture, a massive archive of Russian books, periodicals, manuscripts, and ephemera, including some very rare and valuable items. Many NABOKV-L subscribers are probably familiar with this collection, which includes, besides 15,000 books, complete runs of Sovremennye zapiski and Novyi zhurnal as well as material relating to Belyi, Kandinsky, Bunin, Nabokov, Remizov, Solzhenitsyn, Tsvetaeva, Zinaida Gippius, and many others. Its holdings of Rul' are spotty, though; they are listed as covering only nos. 551-1848 (Sept 1922-Dec 1926), with many gaps. I recently had occasion to contact the Center's director, Stanley Rabinowitz, about a non-Nabokov-related research question, and found him very helpful (though it may take him a while to get back to you; the Center is understaffed). The Center's homepage is http://www.amherst.edu/~acrc/, and its list of online archive catalogues is at http://www.amherst.edu/~acrc/archives.html.
