Nabokov's last interviews

Dear Mr
Barton Johnson
I received your email off the Zembla site
I was
hoping you could help me with information regarding Nabokov's
last
interviews he did before his death in 1977. One was in 1976 I think
where he
discussed literature in general and his last with the BBC in 1977.
I have been
battling to find them. The only ones I have go up to 1972. Do
you know where I
can obtain copies of them?
Thank you for your
help.
Best regards,

EDNOTE. Strangely, the best collections of VN interviews (beyond
STRONG
OPINIONS) are not to be had in any single English edition but in
vol. 21 of the
German Rowohlt collection works magificently edited by
Dieter E. Zimmer. The
interviews are also collected (in Russian) in
editor Nikolai Melnikov's
NABOKOV o NABOKOVE i prochem. Both works have
full bibiographic details on the
first publication of each item.
