The poet and composer Ruy Penalva (also
photographer, specializing in dragon-flies), accompanied by I. Bittencourt has
recorded a CD of popular Brazilian music ( " Bahia Mon Amour" ) issued by
Compact Disc Digital Audio (MR0648).
The CD begins with " Lolita" and was inspired by
VN´s Lolita.
The text in Portuguese begins with: " Lolita,
querida/ A vida me enganou./ Lolita, escuta,/ a vida é um
horror" ( Lolita, dear,/ life has cheated on
me/ Listen, Lolita/ life can be horrible )
