EDNOTE: My 1970 Penguin paperback ADA (with
an orchid on the front cover) simply uses two quotes from Van's parodic
self-blurb in the last two pages of the novel.
Does anybody know the story of the blurb on the back of the
Penguin original edition of Ada? (Did VN write it? how did his publishers
react/ why was it changed afterwards etc...)
