Hidden Nabokov: Nabokov Conference at Wellesley college, summer 2022: Dates announced and new CFP

By stephen_blackwell, 16 July, 2021

Wellesley College has, at happy last, agreed to finalize dates for the Hidden Nabokov conference next summer: we apologize for any anxiety our long silence on this may have caused.  The conference will take place June 15-19 (Weds-Sun, with most or all events Thurs-Fri-Sat). Lodgings will be available on-campus; some will be air-conditioned.

Costs--approx $112 including room & board (possibly higher for air-conditioned rooms). Some details about registration fees and costs for local commuters remain to be ironed out. We will be finalizing that information in the Fall semester; keep an eye on the dedicated conference page here at The Nabokovian and watch for further announcements.

We will be renewing the call-for-papers, with a deadline of Nov. 1. If you have already submitted, you need only inform us if you wish to cancel or revise your submission.  Please see the original CFP for topic ideas.

The previously planned special event, a production of "The Tragedy of Mister Morn," was canceled by the Wellesley Repertory Theatre.  We are still exploring a replacement event of interest to all.

We are excited to see you all in Wellesley next summer. Please send any questions to sblackwe@utk.edu
