Some readers may think that my anagrams have little to do with Ada. Perhaps, the simple anagram below will make the sceptics change their minds:

КНЯЗЬ ВЯЗЕМСКИЙ = ВЯЗ + ЗЕМСКИЙ + КАЗНЬ + Я – АЗ

князь Вяземский - Prince Pyotr Vyazemski (1792-1878), a poet and memoirist, Pushkin's friend
вяз - elm
Земский - Prince Peter Zemski (1772-1832), Van's and Ada's great-grandfather
казнь - execution; the original title of VN's Invitation to a Beheading is "Приглашение на казнь"
я - I, and the last letter of the Russian alphabet
аз - obs., I, and the letter A in the old Russian alphabet

Not only Vyazemski, but also Delvig (Pushkin's closest friend) and Denis Davydov, are, like Pushkin and Lermontov, parts of my "charadoid".
