Tatiana Ponomareva writes:
It was very sad to learn of Sam Schuman's death. I remember him at several
conferences. He had vast knowledge and he was also a deeply
"intellighentny" person, very gentle and kind.
It was so touching to see one of the photos in the memorial video that
shows Sam in front of the Nabokov Museum.
