There is now a web page for the course I teach at Wesleyan University,
Nabokov and Cultural Synthesis:
http://www.wesleyan.edu/~pmeyer
Among other things, it contains a motif bank to which students will be
contributing motif studies over the years. Anyone else who would like to
contribute appropriate pieces is enthusiastically invited to do so.

The site is under construction; student papers will be going up during the
spring term. But there are already a few useful subtexts (e.g.Lermontov's
two mermaids; Hilaire Belloc's Tarantella) and a (rather fuzzy)
reproduction of Van der Weyden's Canon van der Poell who resembles Lawrence
Clemens in Pnin.

Comments and suggestions will be welcome.
